Texas Dream Center
Our mission is to bring people from hurt to hope. Reaching children, families and adults across all races and cultures. The Texas Dream Center strives to help solve moral decay, crime, drugs, gangs, neglect, abuse, human trafficking, homelessness and poverty that exists throughout Houston. We exist to partner with people all around Houston to reach the lost and help meet communities most basic and greatest needs
We achieve this by going out into the communities of Houston and seek out the hurting and the hopeless. We do whatever it is we can to meet those needs and to make life better for people. By doing this, we are able to change entire communities with the love and hope that we bring to people.
In 2012 Brandon Barber, a former football player, coach and minister, fell in love with a passion for his city. A desire to help the fallen, and to no longer be in need. With a background in prison outreach, street outreach, and recovery, he felt the need to create a place of consistency. Creating relationship and providing both tangible and spiritual needs reaching people from all races and all cultures. His heartbeat is to reach this city.
The Texas Dream Center is working on programs to create change in our society and to restore the dreams of children, youth, and adults.
The Texas Dream Center is mostly ran by volunteers from the city. There are multiple opportunities for you to come and serve.
